    Ballpark Differences?`

Has anyone noticed differences in hitting in different ballparks?(i.e. hitters ballparks like Great American Ballpark vs. pitchers ballparks like petco park) I normally only play as the Brewers so I don't play at a lot of other parks.

Yes the ball appears to fly out of Great American, Wrigley and Coors Field.

The CF runs into the wall that's sticking out between CF and LF quite a bit in PNC if the ball is hit in that area making for some easy triples and one inside the park HR.

I haven't played at Petco yet in my franchise, but I have seen a few differences already in terms of how the game plays out.

In Philly, because of their short fences, the outfielders can play a little more shallow which means very few base hits dropping in and a few more HRs flying over.

For PNC, that jut-out does create some easy extra bases, but the outfielders seem to play a little deeper in left because of the deep dimensions which means more base hits falling in front.

I haven't played in too many AL parks just yet, but I think the evidence I have seen says that yes, the playing dimensions have a large impact on the game.

BTW, speaking of Great American BP, has anyone else noticed the gap in right center says 307 instead of 370? It seems ironically appropriate given the parks reputation, but it's still a mistake that shouldn't get by.

Great catch! I love typos in games... I remember catching the word "ememies" in the menus for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
My claim to fame? I started the most popular thread of all time on OS:
The Photographic Side of NCCAA11. It has now become an OS staple for several games.

I'm sure AT&T Park is home to a ton of doubles/triples/IPHR again this year too. I think I only played there once in a play now game so I'm not entirely sure but it was last year.

You are right, I have played there as the Cardinals. Had 3 triples in a three game series. That right center field gap cranks out the extra base hits.

I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.

I play with the Reds and the ball does fly out of that ball park. Especially to center. I have hit more HR's to center at GAPB than anyone other ball park. I have played a lot more there but, I have hit a lot of straight away HR's there. Also Fenway seems to give up a lot. I have hit a lot there too.
